The elegant form of the Sea Urchin, at once perfectly simple and beautifully intricate, is the inspiration for this print. Folk stories tell of sea urchin fossils as harbourers of protective magic, able to ward off harm by lightning or by witchcraft, and so worn as a protective amulet, believed to keep the wearer safe from harm.

This is a signed, original print that has been hand carved and printed in lustrous gold ink.

The print is supplied unframed.Measurements refer to paper size: Height 38 cm, Width 28cm.
The paper used is black, fine art, 100% cotton, acid-free paper.
